Spicy, bite sized peppers stuffed with cheese, homemade jalapeño poppers. These are super easy and make a great snack. Tip: If you want to get really crazy, you can wrap them in bacon or prosciutto. Serve along side tacos or chili.
Homemade Jalapeno Poppers
1 8oz pack cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheese, separated
10-15 fresh jalapeños
Bring your cream cheese to room temperature and mix with 1 cup shredded cheese.
Slice your peppers in half, cutting off the stems and taking out the seeds. Stuff them with the cheese mixture and placing them in a baking dish. Sprinkle with more shredded cheese.
Bake at 375 until the cheese is brown and bubbly, 15-20 minutes.
